North Tipperary Primary Schools Tennis Competition

Well done to our 6^th class tennis teams who recently took part in the North Tipperary Primary Schools Tennis Competition. The 6^th class boys and girls travelled to Nenagh over the last couple of weeks to partake in the competition. The girls team were sadly defeated by Ballinree and the boys team did exceptionally well, making it to the quarter finals. They were up against Nenagh Gaelscoil and after a very exciting and close match Nenagh Gaelscoil were victorious. There was great tennis to be seen and a huge improvement was noticed in the level and skill of all players over the course of the competition. It was a wonderful experience for all involved and a fantastic opportunity to meet children from other schools and to practice our tennis skills. An event thoroughly enjoyed by all and we look forward to taking part again next year

Friday Tennis in Roscrea 2000

Commencing Friday, June 4^th, children from 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th classes are invited to Roscrea 2000 for supervised tennis. This will run every Friday for the month of June from 4pm-6pm. Any student interested should come to Ms. Dillon’s room any day at 11am for more details.

After School Tennis

Tennis on Tuesdays with Ms. Dillon and Ms. McManus has finished for the term. We were delighted to have such huge interest over the year and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Roscrea Inter-Schools Tennis Competition

The very best of luck to our 5^th and 6^th class boys and girls who will soon be competing in the Roscrea Inter-Schools Tennis Competition.
