Cheerios Childline Breakfast Together Week
The 2011 Cheerios Childline Breakfast Together Week took place from Monday 3rd – Sunday 9th October. Ms. Fitzpatrick’s & Ms. Frawley’s Senior Infant classes held their very own Breakfast Morning in Corville last Thursday 6th October 2011. Both classes arrived to the school hall at 10am to be served breakfast. The children sat in different groups at beautifully presented tables complete with table cloths, coloured napkins and individual boxes of Cheerios for every child. The children also enjoyed sausages, toast and hot chocolate. Some parents joined in with the fun too. A special thanks to Mr. Meade who was head chef on the day and to Mr. Slattery, Ms. Atkinson, Ms. Madden and Mr. L. Meade who were his worthy apprentices! Many thanks to all the parents and children who donated money to this worthy charity. We raised €120! Ms. Fitzpatrick & Ms. Frawley look forward to keeping up this tradition and taking part again next year.
